A dinner dance has two faces, and most evenings solve that with two acts: background music during the meal and then a party band that first spends an hour setting up. In Heeze we did it with one line-up, in one set-up.
During the meal that means table music at conversation level. The staff move around, the guests can hear each other, and anyone who would rather listen than talk can do that just as well. The volume belongs below the conversation then.
Once the tables move aside
After dessert the tables move aside and the floor opens up. With us no gap falls there: the same three musicians, the same set-up, the same repertoire, just a different gear. Nobody has to wait for anything to be reset.
Even then the volume follows the room, not the clock. If a group keeps talking at the bar, we do not push on until they cannot hear each other. There are always guests who came to dance and guests who came to catch up.
One evening, two sides, and not a moment when the room empties because something has to be set up.

With us it takes no time at all. We stay where we are and carry on in a different dynamic. The only switch is the one the room makes itself.
Yes. We need very little: a corner of the room measuring 1.5 × 2.5 metres and one socket. That makes a venue without a stage or a permanent PA suitable too.
That is possible. Agree in advance who plays when and we will fit our slots around it. In practice it often works well if we take the meal and the first part of the evening.
Yes, those are all within our half hour from Eindhoven. Heeze-Leende itself is a fifteen-minute drive.
